I'm a wedding, elopement, and portrait photographer based in Boulder, Colorado and Northern California. I photographed my first wedding in 2014, and fell in love with the process of capturing true love, and all the emotions throughout the day.
I have a photojournalistic style- I strive to capture those honest, fleeting moments that you don't expect to see again. While I won't pose you stiffly, I'll guide you to bring out your natural selves, and capture the best possible photos. I edit photos to reflect the mood and colors of your day. My goal is that when you look back on your photos you're transported back to the best day of your life, and remember it exactly as it was. There’s nothing more important to me than trust between us. This trust lets you be silly, loving, and honest with each other in front of my camera, with no judgments. One of the favorite parts of my job are the people/couples I get to meet, and building new friendships. It would be an absolute honor to tell your love story.
Who I am:
I’m a rock climber, and love to be outside camping, hiking, and climbing as much as possible. I grew up in Japan, off a US military base, and moved to Boulder, Colorado when I was 15. I’ve been to 28 countries so far. Before photographing weddings I traveled around the world to film and photograph rock climbing. I lived in an RV camper for a year traveling around the United States and parts of Canada. You could say I have a sense of adventure. While I love traveling I also love setting roots down and having drinks and going dancing with good friends.
