Natalie and Daniel eloped amongst the towering redwood trees on the Northern California coast. I had never been to the redwood forest before, and I have to say, it is one of the most calming, and beautiful places I’ve ever been.

They chose to bring along their immediate families to witness their marriage, and it turned out to be the most intimate, fun filled day. Natalie and Daniel are both talented photographers from the east coast, so I was flattered (and a bit intimidated) that they were interested in having me document their day.

The day began on Stinson Beach where they both got ready in their cute airbnb. After their first look in the backyard, we all drove up to Muir Woods National Park, where their ceremony was held. After their emotional, and laughter filled vows, we walked around the ancient forest and soaked in the beauty. We finished the day watching the sunset on the coast, basking in the last rays of light. As the sun set over the pacific, Natalie and Daniel danced in the waves. It was such a beautiful day, and I was so honored to be there with them to document it. Words can’t describe the beauty of the redwoods, or a California sunset, so I hope the photos do it some justice.
