Man and woman kiss on a windy day - they’re at a stream, with snow-dusted mountains behind them. It’s their elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park. The man wears a black suit and the woman wears a wedding dress.

I joined Sarah and Darius to capture their engagement and bridal portraits in Rocky Mountain National Park. The weather looked iffy all day, but I’m so glad we went through with the shoot, because cloudy, stormy skies usually make for the best images, in my opinion. Right before we were about to finish up, the sun peaked through the clouds, making for one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen.

Mary recently took our engagement pictures. I can’t even express how happy we are with the pictures. They are beyond perfect and surpassed all expectations. The location she chose was breathtaking and her ability to capture the moment was impeccable. The pictures look truly like art and I just can’t gush enough about what a wonderful experience she created for my fiancé who is not very comfortable in front of the camera and I. She looked out for details, got us the pictures back fully edited a day later and with over 150 pictures to select from (we loved them all literally). I can go on for days on her experience, grace, art, and fitness but I’ll stop myself. She is hands down one of the best photographers I’ve ever worked with. Thank you for making such a special moment for us Mary. You are a gem and we are so grateful for you and your keen eye for art.
