Jenna discovered my photography work through mutual friends via Instagram. I’ll admit, I’m not always the biggest fan of social media, but in cases like this, where it connects you with awesome people, I am all for it! I’m so happy that Jenna discovered me and contacted me about photographing their elopement in Bishop because 1. It’s one of my favorite places in the entire world, and 2. these two are absolutely awesome.
We have so much in common, including loving to rock climb, loving Bishop and the Eastern Sierras, and the same taste in coffee + beer. I’ve been coming to Bishop for years to climb, and this was my first elopement that I photographed there. It’s always been a special place for me, so when I got their inquiry, I was over the moon excited. There’s nowhere quite like it. If you haven’t been to the Eastern Sierra’s, I highly recommend it. There are so many gorgeous, untouched spots to explore and an incredible place to have an elopement! These two have such a special connection, and story, it really seemed they were destined to be together. Grateful to have worked with them for such a special day!
